IntroductionI've been building for the web since 1994.
I specialise in full-stack (front- and back-end) Web application development using Ruby and Rails.
I take ownership of problems, from the initial conception stage through to delivery and iteration.
My approach is creative and user-oriented; measuring success by solving problems. I distill often-complex user and business requirements down to the simplest feasible solution, producing elegant user interfaces and experiences which respond quickly and predictively.
I work iteratively; delivering discrete functionality one piece at a time, providing users with value as early as possible.
I was featured in a .net magazine article on 3D web design.
I have many years of experience creating beautiful web sites and APIs with Ruby on Rails, Resque, Solr, Rspec, and front-end technologies such as SASS and Compass, CoffeeScript, and responsive design.
I'm available to help you with freelance contract work using Ruby on Rails. My rate is £500 per day, plus VAT.
